SUMMARY:CGOW Cleaning the Capital 2026
DESCRIPTION:Then\, to celebrate Earth Day\, you’re invited to our Cleaning the Capital event. On Saturday April 25 from 9am – 12pm at Golden Fries (6505 Jeanne D’Arc Blvd)\, community members will come together to pick up and remove garbage from our streets\, forested areas\, and riverside. This event makes a tangible difference annually – last year community volunteers removed over 1\,055 lbs of garbage!  \n\n\n\nBoth adults and kids are welcome – come join us in cleaning our community! Supplies will be provided\, please wear close-toed shoes and if you have reusable gloves to wear\, bring them along! Know a teen who could use some volunteer hours? This is a great opportunity to get them while enjoying the outdoors.  \n\n\n\nWe’re grateful to our partners who are helping make this event possible: Golden Fries\, Mighty Mouse Junk Removal\, and Metro.
