Invasive Plants Info Night

Our speakers are Iola Price (Former President of Ontario Invasive Plant Council), Sharon Boddy (she manages invasive species on NCC property) and Lana Doss (she is an experienced horticulturist and volunteers with Friends of Petrie Island. She planted and designed their educational native plant gardens and will be removing invasives on Petrie Island next year). 

We will have tea and some snacks. Part of the goal of this talk is to motivate residents to reach out to their councillors and request that invasive plant removal be included in the city’s upcoming budget vote (they have until December 8^th to do this and it gets approved on December 10th).
